Successfully restarting your NIO vehicle
If you've found this post, you probably want to get to your destination as quickly as possible. Please keep a cool head. Restarting doesn't always work on the first try – but it's quick and easy.
First, sit in the driver's seat of your vehicle, and follow these steps one after the other:
- Activate the hazard lights.
- If necessary, shift to park (P).
- Press and hold the buttons as indicated in the graphic.
- After 10 seconds, both screens should turn off.
- Wait for 30 seconds.
- Press the brake once if the system is still dark
The button combination is the right button on the left side of the steering wheel, and the downward button on the right side of the steering wheel.
